Hot Fuzz

Moviehole are reporting that the stars of Hot Fuzz, Edgar Wright's forthcoming "Lethal Weapon in the West Country" are not Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, as previously presumed, but instead Jim Broadbent and Timothy Dalton. Pegg and Frost will appear, just not in the mismatched cop buddy roles.

Please let this be true. That's genius casting. And please let the film be at least almost as good as Shaun of the Dead.

Filming starts in the next couple of weeks, so confirmation can't be far away.
