Andy Richter and Conan O'Brien Together Again

Andy Richter Controls the Universe was funny. Very funny. Of the funniest epsiodes, perhaps the greatest of all featured Conan O'Brien in a bizarre cameo appearance. O'Brien has long since been Richter-free on his talk show, and it was good to see them together again, if only for a few minutes.

Maybe their newly announced reteaming will actually get seen by an audience and not axed by an ungrateful, short-sighted network before it is even given a chance. Probably not, eh? But maybe.

This new hope is Andy Barker PI, a single-camera comedy show starring Richter as a reluctant sleuth. Having set up his business in an office vacated by a private investigator, Andy finds greater success abandoning his original business plan and taking on cases from customers who turn up at the office looking for the previous tenant.

O'Brien is producing and co-writing, NBC will be airing the show. I think we're looking at next year's My Name is Earl.
