The Daily Mail have put the boot into Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean's Mirrormask. Idiots.

As Neil points out, they were particularly perturbed that the film was a waste of "Lottery Money". Okay... it's only that... well...

The film was privately funded and did not draw on the arts funds of the National Lottery at all. This seems to have been conveniently overlooked - or maybe it was just the result of the poor fact checking, idiocy and "Lottery Money" obsession that pads out what's left of The Daily Mail's pages after all of the bigotry and hatred.

Neil has failed to find the review online and so have I, but if you can track it down, please tell me where.
