Peter Jackson Pulls A Disney

A trailer for the DVD release of King Kong is now online. It states very clearly that this 2 Disc release will be available "for a limited time only". This is the sort of release pattern that Disney movies have suffered from for a long time now, and it has started to fertilise a little resentment in me.

That news does pretty much confirms the extended 4 Disc release we're all anticipating, however, as well as a sad, lonely 1 Disc, movie-only retirement for the theatrical cut.

Fans who know the film well might watch the trailer closely and notice something else too... something that might just bode well for that 4 Disc reissue...
