Mike Meyers Learning How To Survive A Robot Uprising

The first announced member of cast for How To Survive a Robot Uprising has been named, and his name is Mike Meyers.

The mock-guidebook source for the film was written by Daniel H. Wilson, apparently a genuine doctoral candidate at the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute and overseer of Dot Bot Inc.

The screenplay adaptation is by Thomas Lennon and Ben Garant, and though his work is likely to go uncredited, Meyers himself.

No director has been announced. I'll do it, though. Seriously.

According to Variety, Meyers' character works in tech-admin, and assumes "the thankless job of sounding warnings against the growing presence of robots and researching ways to keep those robots from taking over." I'm betting he's going to be called Daniel Wilson. Or maybe Will Daniels. Or Somebody H. Something, at least.

I like Meyers a lot, I find him very charming and most often fairly funny. I'd been starting to miss him lately.

There are bound to be robots of all shapes and sizes crawling/stomping all over this thing whenever it ultimately makes it to the screen. Sounds great to my geek self.

A very funny presentation by Daniel H. Wilson can be seen below.
