The Simpsons Teaser Trailer: Superman Version

Seems that David Silverman, Pete Docter's second in command on Monsters Inc., will be directing the Simpsons movie. He directed several epsiodes of the show, and is now the series overall supervising director. He's a talented man - but no Brad Bird. Rumour has it that the plot sees Springfield being contained in a giant dome after Homer causes a power plant accident. Again.

Less well-reported rumours put Kang and Kodos in the picture, as well as a "trip to heaven" that allows a number of deceased characters to make an appearance.

UPDATE: Apple are now hosting the trailer in the correct aspect ratio, and in Quicktime, so you can go frame-by-frame. For animation of this calibre, that's essential. And yes, I am being sarcastic.
