The Name's Stoppard, Tom Stoppard

Apparently, Tom Stoppard will be writing the 22nd Bond film, the one after Casino Royale. Seems that longtime Bond-scribes Purves and Wade will have to knock up another Johnny English if they want to keep their spy fiction flowing.

There's talk of Roger Michell directing, also. That's not nearly as exciting.

Stoppard, in case you didn't know, is probably the greatest playwright of the 20th century. He also scripted, or at least co-scripted, Terry Gilliam's Brazil.

Isn't he also adapting Ludlum's THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, to be directed by Paul "Spycatcher" Greengrass? Is there some sort of cinematic mobius strip at work here?
