According to Tood at Twitch, Bong Joon Ho and Chan Wook Park are to collaborate - though Park would only be one of the producers - on an adaptation of the French sic-fi comic Transperceneige. Lovely.

He also suggests that the adaptation might require more than one film, and I can see how that might be allowed. With Bong Joon Ho decimating all Korean box office records with The Host, we can maybe expect to see him granted the kind of loose reign Peter Jackson had on King Kong, for example.

The Host is playing at this year's Zone Horror Frightfest, and you really should make every effort to see it. Bong Joon Ho's next projects are a segment for an anthology film and then a "small" feature drama about an unusual Mother-Son relationship.
