What On Earth Is W.A.L-E? Are Pixar Moving Ahead On An Alice In Wonderland Film?

Thanks, world, for letting me know that Pixar are working on a film known as W.A.L-E. Now, do the done thing, please, and get back in touch to tell me what on earth the film is about.

The best lead I have so far is... well, you won't believe it, but I'll tell you anyway.

It's actually Alice in Wonderland.

Sounds too good to be true.

[EDIT: It both is and isn't too good to be true. Apparently, W.A.L-E isn't anything to do with Alice at all. That doesn't mean, however, that Alice is a potential Pixar project. In fact, a few voices have suggested that research and designs for an Alice film were going on in Emeryville...

Of course, many more voices rushed to tell me that W.A.L-E is, in fact, the name of the film's title character, a robot, including, in the comments below, somebody we can truly trust.]
