New Argento Already Lined Up For Frightfest 2008

Alan Jones has filed a typically readable report from the set of Mother of Tears, the next Dario Argento film and the capper of the trilogy already comprising Inferno and Suspiria.

One particularly tasty bit of information reveals that Dario and Asia Argento - she's starring in this one for Dad again - have agreed to appear at Frightfest next year to present the film's UK premiere. All that needs to be sorted out before hand is a UK distributor, and that's not necessarily a small thing.

Jace Anderson and Adam Gierasch were Argento's collaborators on the script, and some people might be worried by this. Myself, I think their scripts for Tobe Hooper were actually pretty solid, particularly Mortuary which had some original zombie ideas - which these days can be rather hard to come by.
