The Watchmen Has A Composer

Animation Magazine have an interview with John Powell, composer of Happy Feet's unusual soundtrack. Briefly, at the very bottom, they mention his upcoming projects - The Bourne Ultimatum, Horton Hears a Who and, finally, The Watchmen. I doubt he'll be chatting much about that one in his Bourne spotting sessions with Greengrass.

It's safe to assume the appointment of a music man marks a reasonable step forward on the Watchmen film - for better or for worse.
