Entertainment Weekly's Grind House Slideshow
Our first real look at Death Proof comes courtesy of Entertainment Weekly. It honestly looks wonderful - particularly in the first still - and there are also some Planet Terror snaps too.

Thanks for the heads up on these picks. I get the feeling that Death Proof will be the better film in Grind House. Rodriguez can make a good B movie. Tarrantino can take B material and make an A movie. My expectations are that Death Proof with be fast, stylish and lean. Planet Terror, I think will be fun but messy and perhaps too derivative. I don't know if this is a good experiment for 2 super egos to engage in. In the sports obsessed minds of American society, this will be a tennis match between film makers. Ultimately the films will be compared. And, if what I expect will be true, Quentin will defend his friend, but in the condescending since of, "Leave him alone, he's a great film maker..." (but my movie's better).
