Rubin Rewrite

Variety sez: Bruce Joel Rubin, author of Ghost, Jacob's Ladder and My Life, has been hired to rewrite Jeremy Leven's script for The Time Traveler's Wife. For a while Stephen Frears was in the frame to direct this, but now the gig has gone to Robert Schwentke, who bungled his end of the the Flightplan job somewhat. It looks like Rachel McAdams will play the lead - or at least, for much of the film. Younger and older versions will be required for several scenes.

I can smell the voice over pouring off of this one from here, there's going to be so much of it.
