Spooky Just Got Spookier At The Magic Kingdom

The Disney Blog are hosting a video of the latest technology to be unveiled at Walt Disney World: blinking, lip-synching head-mask-things for Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Minnie et al.

If I ever see one of these things 'in the flesh' I'll probably pull a Scanners and explode from the neck up. I don't understand the positioning of uncanny five-and-a-half foot mice perfectly ennunciating their shrill exclamations with a wave and a blink as a tourist attraction - don't we all see enough of these things in our nightmares?

[EDIT: Turns out that the people in the suits are controlling the facial movements using gestures of their hands. Hard to explain, especially as I don't really understand it, but the story has apparently been verified and is spreading across various Disney blogs. As if that made it any less creepy...]
