Europe's First All Digital Cinema

Empire Cinemas have announced their first site to go all-digital is the High Wycombe 6-screener. That used to be the nearest decent multiplex to me, and I've seen plenty of films there.

All six screens are now equipped to project digitally, and they can handle both 2D and 3D films in a variety of compression formats.

Superb. Let's hope the remaining Empire sites, not to mention other chains, follow suit soon.
