Talladega Fright For Russell On Sammy's Hill

Hyping David O Russell's upcoming adaptation of Sammy's Hill to The Hollywood Reporter, producer Douglas Wick said "It will do for Washington, D.C., what Talladega Nights did for race car driving."

Oh... I'm not entirely sure Russell will see it that way.

The original novel was written by Kristin Gore, Al's daughter. Lots of people have labelled it chick-lit, and I can imagine the inappropriate comparisons to Legally Blonde (2?) are probably inevitable.
