Wahlberg Really Is Happening

Variety have tonight confirmed JoBlo's story about Mark Wahlberg headlining Shyamalan's The Happening.

They say "Wahlberg will play a man who takes his family on the run when the world turns upside and a cataclysmic natural crisis threatens to end the world" which is not quite right. He goes on the road with his partner, two friends and that pair of friends' child. Not all of them make it very far at all. At least in the script I have, anyway.

The film has been scheduled for Friday June 13th next year. Sounds great.
