Zero Dark Thirty

Stephen Susco has issued a very short update on Zero Dark Thirty on his blog.

He says "There's finally some traction with this long-gestating project - I'll update as things solidify."

The project sounds slightly like Deathdream, slightly like Homecoming, in that the lead character is a soldier killed in Iraq who returns home two weeks after his funeral. Or at least his body does.

John Brently Reynolds was previously attached to star, John Stalberg Jr previously attached to direct - but either of these facts may well have changed now. The plan was for this to be a low-budget, independently produced film and that, at least, still seems to be the status.
