How Now John Brown

Further details from the Charlie Rose episode in which Robert Rodriguez (apparently) unveiled his Sin City TV plans.

At the end of the show, Tarantino is discussing his future projects. He talks about Inglorious Bastards, and how novellistic it has become in his mind. He then goes on to talk about his dislike of biopics.

And then he says, actually, he'd like to make one himself. He'd like to make a biopic of the abolitionist John Brown. What's more, he expects it will be the last film he ever makes, saying this will be when he's '59 or 60'. And he also says that he'd like to actually play the lead role too.

All this just minutes after saying he'd finally lost his appetite for acting.

Ah, the Quentin giveth, the Quentin also taketh away.
