Shaolin Soccer 2: Shaolin Girl
There's to be a sequel to Shaolin Soccer, and it will be called Shaolin Girl. This time, the sport will be lacrosse. Stephen Chow will produce, Katsuyuki Motohiro will direct. The title charcater will be played by Shibasaki Kou, who you can see above in One Missed Call.
Filming starts very soon, with a wrap date of June expected. Twitch pointed the way to Don Brown's piece on the (curiously, entirely Japanese) film.
