Ark Changes

Mark Verheiden has commented on Ark, his upcoming sci-fi film adapted from his own comic.

The fine folks at Columbia, along with producers Neal Moritz and Mike Richardson, have picked up the rights to my comic series Ark, which did indeed see print (you cynics!) in four consecutive issues of Dark Horse Presents. Don't bother to dig up those issues, though, if you're looking for some clue toward the project itself, since it's morphed a bit since those early days. I've been asked to keep a lid on the details, but suffice to say it's a big science fiction story.

Mark had promised to spill the juice once the official release was out, but Variety had better info in the first place, so, er, cheers, Mark. Variety said the film would be "marrying the story of Noah's Ark with a UFO crash".
