Direct Download Links For New Lions For Lambs Trailer

If I had to list great actors who were also great directors, Robert Redford would probably head the list. Buster Keaton is his only real competition. Welles? Hmmm. Okay. He'd be in the top three too, I guess.

Charles Laughton and Marlon Brando should have made more films, really - as directors - though their debuts were quite incredible.

Who have I forgotten?

Think it over while you enjoy the new Lions for Lambs trailer in medium, big, super-big, 480p, 720p or 1080p versions. Right click and save, remembering to rename the file or similar to make it work.

I'd include Clint Eastwood in the list of great actor/directors. His work as a director isn't always to my taste but films such as "The Outlaw Josey Wales", "Play Misty for Me" and "Unforgiven" are ones I consider to be classics.
On the other hand, I'm not a fan of Redford's work as a director, though "Quizshow" was good.

I agree wholeheartedly about Laughton and Brando, I would love to have seen what else they might have achieved as directors. What is it for you that puts Robert Redford at the top of actor-directors?

Eastwood perhaps?

Though I've always thought his directing was better and certainly more consistent than his acting.

Not Ron Howard?! He's the greatest actor turned director in the whole world!

I'm kidding.... Hope you could smell the sarcasm there.

Eastwood has directed a few great movies, but is he a great director? I always thought he was sort-of a "cover version" director. He goes into a project with an idea of what he wants it to be like, y'know, pseudo-Don Siegal, pseudo-Sergio Leone, and has little defining voice of his own.

Though he does have at least one main trope: masochism.
