Removie Minesweeper

I'm about to try another experiment, and hopefully this one will generate useful feedback.

There's enough stories in my pile here for a Movie Minesweeper, so typically, that's what I'd create. Instead, I'm going to give each link it's own story. The thinking is pretty simple: I might take up more time and space doing this, but it's less likely you'll miss something. I've been asking around for a couple of days and a few of you admitted only skim reading the Minesweepers, and missing out on all kinds of good stuff.

Let me know honestly what you think. Is the Minesweeper method more convenient? Or do you like every news snippet to get a headline of it's own?

I like and prefer it this way. Almost all of movie-blogs like this one have the movie-news written in very similar way and it is no need to write and read it here for hundredth time. Another thing is that most of those news are rumours denied few days after. It's just cool to read through all todays news in one minute, discover what I missed and read it on another blog eventually. So I vote definitely for leaving things as they are - one article with all the news, Minesweeper rulez.

I'd like to come out against minesweeper. It's too easy to lose stuff in the shuffle, and the tags at the top breaking down the contents only make it worse. Brief headlines with a link are much easier to scroll through and skim-read without missing anything. Just my two cents.

i love the minesweeper. i think it really gives filmick an edge. i know i can come here and get a summary of all the important news in one fell swoop rather than having to browse around other sites for half an hour skimming through paragraph after paragraph.

I find the minesweepers the perfect way to digest a big ole' lump...and has even peaked my interest in stuff I wouldnt usually touch if I had to wade through....

The minesweepers are what keep me coming back.

Keep uo the good work! Clean and efficient!

One more vote in favor of the "digest" version of the minesweeper.

Keep "The Sweeper" Brendon. I love it. That a lot of the readers flash through it is they're loss. The reason that they're so good is that they can give you info on the subject in a few words.

Besides, like posted above it gives the site a unique touch of it's own in how it reports it's news.

Minesweeper please.

Both. Single out even merely strong stories for headlines, while being sure to gather snippets (especially trailer links) in minesweepers.

Frankly, I love the Minesweeper! As said above, this is a great way to digest large amounts of info and take the initiative to get proactive and dig up more items on what interests you most. There have been some outstanding little tidbits that the Minesweeper has provided - keep it up. It's because of the M.S. that some friends of mine have joined your blog.

Thanks for all your hard work Brendon!

I, for one, wouldn't mind seeing the back of minesweepers. I can handled looking through the main film ick page and picking which one I want. Or, for that matter, going through the daily email - you miss almost all of the minesweeper info on the email, so I never bother to cllick on it.

I can't get on with the minesweepr Brendon. It's difficult to read quickly - especially in the daily email.

Full articles please :)

Thank you :)

Kindly :)

Must :)

I'm more partial to the 'sweeper, myself. I'm reading at work and it's endlessly more convenient for me.
Thanks.
