Second Director For Rapunzel

Glen Keane is to get a co-pilot for his upcoming Disney toon Rapunzel, formally Rapunzel: Unbraided. The new guy is Dean Wellins, who was a story artist on The Iron Giant and has been heading the story department on American Dog. I think thi smakes perfect sense - somebody with over-arching-narrative and character-line focus to team with Keane's eye for images, performance and sense of tone and atmosphere.
