Could it Be Magic?

Images from The Illusionist, Sylvain Chomet's follow-up to The Triplets of Belleville have appeared online. It's gorgeous stuff, but I dare say the film's plot will be as ramshackle as in his previous attempt.

All I know so far is that the film is set in Scotland - where Chomet's new animation studios are - and revolves around an Illusionist who pretends his magic is real to save a young girl's feelings. Who wants to bet that some "actual" magic does occur at some point in the story?
