The Mother Theresa Movie

I only have time for a very short update, but this a piece of casting news far too amusing to ignore

Apparently the Malayalam director T. Rajeevnath is planning a biopic of Mother Theresa. It's getting close to production: most of the roles have already been filled, the $11 million budget appears secure and the only major hurdle still to be cleared seems to be casting the lead role.

Of course, there's somebody very surprising in mind - can you guess who it is yet? Really do try and guess - it's actually quite obvious if you think about it.

Yes, it's true. T. Rajeevnath wants Paris Hilton for the role, having apparently been impressed by her reputed refusal to pose naked in Playboy. Either there's a certain little videotape he hasn't yet been told about or this man's got a very peculiar set of standards.

Or, of course, there's also the possibilty that he's lying through his teeth and it's anything but chastity inspiring him.
