The Last Word on Aaron Woodley

In an earlier post I was doubting the abilities of Aaron Woodley, pretty much on the basis of him casting Michael Pitt in Rhinoceros Eyes. Oh, how wrong of me! How judgmental! Surely I'd be proven wrong once I saw the final film? Well, okay, I had decided to give him the beneift of the doubt.

Now I get the news that Woodley is to direct another film, it's to be called Tennessee and it's a family drama (melodrama?) in which generational tensions and leukemia rear their ugly heads. No idea if this one will have Pitt in too, but I do know that it's going to star Mariah Carey.

That's just about the last word on the subject, I imagine.
