Garth Marenghi's Darkplace

According to Amazon, the R2 UK DVD release of Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is set for July 3rd. This isn't the first date they've set, but there are various other rumblings and whispers coming down the pipe that this time, in fact, it's going to happen.

A fake press release on the long neglected official site explains the show's premise. Hopefully we'll see some updates there to officially announce the disc soon.

I'm looking forward to seeing this series again. Matthew Holness gives a great double performance, playing Garth Marenghi, who is himself mostly seen playing Rick Dagless, but you won't be able to resist the supporting cast either, with Richard Aoyadade particularly memorable.
