Masters of Horror: Season 2

There are a number of new directors coming aboard for season two of Masters of Horror - Ernest Dickerson, Brad Anderson and Tom Holland have been named so far. Not the most exciting bunch. Where's Del Toro? Larry Fessenden?

Better news regards the second season episodes of returning masters Dario Argento and John Carpenter.

Argento's new episode is called Pelts, and according to Fangoria, begins filming on April 18th in Vancouver. Human skin-flaying ahoy? I should wonder.

Carpenter's episode reteams him with Scott Swann and Drew McWeeny (ahem), who wrote Cigarette Burns for him in the first season. This second collaboration is called Pro-Life, and on that basis alone, I expect it might just suffer the same censure as Miike's Imprint did in the first run.
