Red Letter Days

Both Chud and Jo Blo are highlighting every occurance of the letter V as red text throughout their current posts, no matter what the subject. I suppose even an otherwise sensitive obituary would be subject to this branding exercise..?

It looks silly and shouldn't work, but maybe this advertising has had some effect - "that film" was number one in the US this weekend, afterall.

I like both sites, but I don't care much for all of this V movie brouhaha. The best we can hope for, I think, is that the fuss over the film sells a few warehouses worth of the original comic.
