Fangoria Run Details Of Dellamorte Dellamore DVD

According to Fangoria, the special features on Anchor Bay's DVD of Dellamorte Dellamore run only to a featurette, a bio of Michele Soavi, the film's director, and some trailers. No idea if any of them are even trailers for this film.

The commentary from the Itallian release could have been included with subtitles, but Anchor Bay have sadly opted not to do so.

What a poor showing. Unless that featurette drops the -ette and clocks in at a decent length, not like the 17 minutes of frippery on the Itallian disc, we've been seriously shortchanged. What were all of the delays in aid of?

Closer to the June 13th release date, we should find out if the transfer - reportedly anamorphic 1.66 - is up to snuff, but it looks like, today, the disc is a great disappointment.

Soavi, should you not know, was a second unit director on the Terry Gilliam films The Adventures of Baron Munchausen and The Brothers Grimm, handling much of the Mud Mimic scene on the latter.
