Marc Craste's The Big Win

Cartoon Brew pointed me towards The Big Win, a one minute, CG animation commercial by Marc Craste that I was very pleased to see.

The cutting is jarring and overly rapid, with too many shots being squeezed in to the slender running time, and while that has had a strong negative effect there is a lot of good thinking behind most of the film, and it does survive the headlong rush through good design and some eloquent images.

The moral of the story seems to be that money equates directly to happiness, and that's not something I'm ever going to agree with, but a well made film is still a well made film, no matter the message.
