Basset Hounding

I really don't like Michael Bassett's Deathwatch, in fact, I really quite dislike it, and as far as I've seen so far, his second film Wilderness is more of the same. Give me Punishmnet Park any day of the week.

Will Mr. Bassett break his film ick duck with Solomon Kane, an upcoming adaptation of the Robert E. Howard epic? I don't find it very likely.

The fantasy film will be supported by a comic book and a role-playing game, hardly the kind of marketing it would need to break out of the fanboy niche. Shame.

According to Time Out, production begins in Eastern Europe - surprise surprise - next year.
