Official Site Open For Rian Johnson's Next

Rian Johnson is about to do it again. After Brick comes The Brothers Bloom.

The rather slight official site is now open. Various clues scattered throughout suggest something like Paper Moon crossed with Neil Gaiman's Dead Boy Detectives, Charles Rowland and Edwin Paine.

I think this young man Johnson is going to replace the Coens in a lot of people's affections - though probably not my own.

Apparently, The Brothers Bloom is now largely cast with shooting likely to begin before the end of the year. Expect a release in 2009.
