The My Name Is Earl MySpace page is hosting the first ten minutes of the first episode of the second season (written by Michael Pennie, directed by the show's style-setter Marc Buckland). For those of us in the UK, this preview gives a sneak peak lead-in of at least three and a half months.

Rumours abound that Earl's list will feature far less prominently this season, bucking the first run's structural restrictions. I hope not - I hope they stick to the tight format they established, and see how inventive they can be within those limitations.
