Balance And Perfection In The Piano Tuner Of Earthquakes

My viewing of The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes was interrupted, and I had to quickly hit pause. There on screen, perhaps not unexpectedly, was a perfect freeze frame example of a golden spiral, hidden in a single frame of an animated interlude. Typical Quays, eh?

I won't go into the film too heavily here - but I bet you'd like to know what Guy Maddin has to say on the subject.
