Celebrity Poker Tournament For Next Year's Cannes

Coinciding with next year's film festival, Cannes will also be playing host to a charity poker tournament. 10 'stars' are set to play - is Ben Affleck a star? - and though none have been named yet, the full list of 10 - 9 plus Ben Affleck? - is to be unveiled by year's end.

The Cannes film festival has a much better pedigree than its rivals, for my money at least, with the majority of Palm D'Or Winners actually being great, great films; the majority of best director winners being great, great winners; and the majority of acting prize honorees not being the kind to spend such a sumptious feast of quality film playing poker.
