Play it By Ear, Terry

An open letter to Terry Gilliam has appeared online. What with his love of radio shows, I think he'd find this interesting: the letter suggests he turn his unused film scripts and treatments not into comic books but audio productions.

The notion that Hollywood executives would listen to these CD-based script replacements while driving is a bit wide of the mark though, I think. Wouldn't they be too busy making cellphone calls, driving aggressively and stroking the hair of the call girl they have face down in their lap?

Huh? What do you mean The Player wasn't a documentary?
