Spielberg Still Planning Tintin

Variety have reported on Spielberg's upcoming TV and movie projects. Perhaps the most surprising item on the itinerary is his projected Tintin franchise.

Apparently, he's already extended his option once, to keep his Tintin dreams alive. Keen but tardy.

By now Jason Connery is some years - nay, decades - too old for the lead role, so who do you think would make a good Tintin? And don't say Haley Joel Osment.

I'd put Jim Broadbent up for the Thompson Twins and Pierce Brosnan for Cuthbert Calculus, but I have no idea about the boy reporter himself.
