The World's Premier Storyteller

The Sonoma Valley Film Festival is to honour John Lassetter. They say "It is our tremendous honor to pay tribute to John Lasseter, the world's premier storyteller" - which is, I suppose, almost right.

Lassetter's latest, Cars, is out on single-disc DVD now with a 2-Disc special edition to follow at Easter. It might just be the most handsome looking film ever committed to celluloid (though, of course, if you watch it on DVD, it never was committed to celluloid, not at any stage).
