Bunker Hill Official Site And Trailer

I was getting giddy for Bunker Hill in a previous post, not long after director Kevin Willmott had wrapped shooting, but now, with impressive expedience, the official site and trailer have popped up online - and very intriguing they are indeed.

Willmott's showing more than a little John Sayles style here, if you ask me - no bad thing. A strong "what if?" plot, spiced with allegory, some social ruminations, awareness of context and history... and his cast is certainly very impressive too. You can see James McDaniel above, as Salem, the film's protagonist - both on the down and, below, the up (if you know what I mean).

I'll be keeping on eye on Bunker Hill as it's release draws closer.
