Alan Moore On Superstition

As part of Northampton Museum and Art Gallery's forthcoming exhibition on superstition, Unlucky For Some, there will be special talks on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th April.

University of Northampton parapsychologist (?!?!?!?!) David Luke will discuss "the psychology of superstition" on Friday evening from 19:00 until 20:30, and again on Saturday from 13:00 until 14.00pm. Better than that, Northampton's own Alan Moore will discuss "Magical Northampton" on Saturday from from 14:00 until 16:00.

For Friday's talk there will be a charge of £3 including refreshments, Saturday there will be a charge of £2. That's just £2 to hear Alan Moore talk about Magic. And Northampton. And there's gonna be some kind of Ghostbuster too (they were parapsychologists, right?)

What more do you want?

Booking is essential, so contact Northampton Museum and Art Gallery on 01604 838111, or e-mail them.

Hey, don't knock Northampton uni's parapsychology department! They do some great work up there (not just ghostbusting!) and it's the largest department of its kind (as far as I know) attracting big gun professors from across the world (e.g. Profs Deborah Delanoy and Harald Walach etc.) For those who have no idea what this is all about, but would like to know, this site provides a great introduction to the wide range of phenomena that are explored in parapsychology: http://www.parapsych.org/
Click on 'Newcomers' and check out the Faq file - should help to answer most of your initial queries! Far out.

I wish Bill Murray was one of my lecturers.

Yeah, Bill Murray's a great lecturer, but he's not a touch on the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
