Clooney Offered Liberace

According to the World Entertainment News Network, George Clooney has been offered the lead role in the infamous, in-development Librace biopic - and it seems like he's going to take the part, if he can, despite misgivings.

"I like the idea but I think the role would be more suited to the likes of a comedian like Robin Williams. If it works out, fine, but am I really camp enough?"

I'm backing Nicolas Cage for the role. That would be perfect casting - even better if Amy Winehouse makes a cameo as Connie Francis and Bruno Ganz plays George.
