The Boy With The Incredible Brain Was Born On A Blue Day

As Warner Bros. announce they have purchased the rights to film David Tammet's autobiography, Born on a Blue Day, I thought I'd give point you towards some background information on this incredible young man.

The Boy With the Incredible Brain, was Channel 4's documentary about the high-functioning autistic Tammet, and it is online now on Google Video. Tammet became very famous after reciting PI to 222,514 decimal places - from memory - but his abilities don't stop there, and the insights he offers into the life and perceptions of an autistic person are amazing.

Is Tammet hinting at some previously unknown answers to questions about the human mind, thought and creativity? Doing this man's outlook justice is going to take a very skilled and cautious director indeed.
