Andrew Henry's Meadow

Upcoming kid-flick Andrew Henry's Meadow has been described as being like "as if Terry Gilliam had directed The Goonies". And who described it as such? Zach Braff - the brother of the film's scriptwriter, Adam J. Braff. He wrote the screenplay from Doris Burns' book of the same name.

The film has a director - currently Cory Edwards, previously guilty for Hoodwinked. Suddenly the Goonies side of the equation seems to be outweighing the Gilliam side.

Barry Sonnenfield had previously been attached to direct. Even that would have made for a better marquee, surely?
