Virgin Comics Going All Teen Horror On Us

The latest announced attempt by Virgin comics to crack the movie industry is their team up with the Indian prodcution house Studio 18. The idea this time is to generate teen horror properties, first as comics, then as films and accompanied with tie-in games.

I'm becoming increasingly cynical about this whole Virgin Comics enterprise. Nothing they've officially launched so far actually sounds any good, and they seem overly keen to spread out, creeping up any potentially lucrative avenue. I think they really need to stop talking, start walking and wait until they've got that down before they try to run.

Come on: just one project, however cheap, with a great creative team attached.
