The JLA Challenge

There are so many ridiculous JLA film rumours going around but, really, there should be more. Make up your own, and send them to some of the big online sites. Then, if you want, leave a comment here so we can all conspire with you and cross our fingers for your bait to be taken.

I mean, why not, eh? Really. Why not?

I just e-mailed a CERTAIN big site with the rumour that John Cusack will be playing Martian Manhunter.

Garrett Dillahunt playing the Phantom Stranger?

How does that sound? I think it's obscure enough to seem realistic.

I'll give it a shot.

I made up a rumour that Delta Burke had been cast as Wonder Woman and that Patrick Warburton is in talks to play Superman. The Hollywood Reporter has not yet featured this "juicy hunk of insider information" but it's just a matter of time.

This information is from a very reliable Hollywood insider who claims that all the JLA rumors are false. Do not read on if you don't want to read spoilers. This all-knowing person said that Hanna-Barbera, the animated cartoon production company, are back up and running and mobilizing to bring back Saturday morning cartoons. They will be using what's left of their old team of cartoonists. The JLA is a remake of their "Super Friends" cartoon and will be their way of reintroducing Saturday morning cartoons to the public. JLA will air alongside "The Quick Draw McGraw Show" and "Wally Gator." Batman will be based on Art Carney's Ed Norton character in "The Honeymooners." More to come...
