Ryan Reynolds Up For A Bit Of Flash Action

This isn't news as such, but plenty of people will be interested.

Speaking to MTV, Ryan Reynolds has confirmed that he'd like the role of the Flash in the JLA film. Well, of course he would. He also mentioned that he's aware of the Flash film to be directed by Shawn Levy but then again, anybody who reads Variety (or, for that matter, film ick) knew about that one.

This is, plain and simple, Reynolds trying to keep his name in circulation in connection with the project. He needn't bother - he's well enough associated with the role now that he's bound to get discussed in the production meeting at least. What else could he possibly hope to engineer?

Now, I'm no expert, but it appears to me that what he is trying to engineer is answering the questions that he was directly asked.

If he answered honestly he'd say "I'm not attched. They scrapped me when they scrapped Goyer".
