Catherine Tate's Comic Relief DVD has received more pre-orders than any other disc in Amazon UK's history - and, according to an Amazon spokesman, could well end up being the best selling DVD they have ever sold.
Blimey. I'm a little shocked by this - but in a good way. Is this going to launch full time comedy careers for Tony Blair (ahem) and Daniel Craig?

That's BBC1, from 7pm, on Friday March 16th. Superb.
The celeb-studded Little Britain Live show held for Comic Relief late last year is coming to DVD. Best of all, with only a 46 minute running to time to the main feature, it seems to be limited to only the sketches featuring new material and guest performers, therefore not rendering the already existing Little Britain Live DVD redundant.
There's a further six-minute Comic Relief information piece on the disc, as well as an unspecified 1 minute 40 seconds of something as yet untitled. Best of all, as the DVD is being released by Comic Relief you can rest assured that the asking price will be directed straight into the charity's coffers.
Expect more news when the disc is officially announced sometime soon, hopefully in good time for Comic Relief's big fundraising evening on March 16th.
