Hot Fuzz Cast List

Edgar Wright starts shooting Hot Fuzz, his follow up to Shaun of the Dead, just about any day now. The heady excitement of pre-production and rehearsal must be making him really quite woozy, I imagine. Hell, I could faint just from looking at the cast list:

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are just the cream-spattered cherry. The cake comprises: Bill Bailey, David Bradley, Jim Broadbent, Olivia Colman, Paddy Considine, Steve Coogan, Timothy Dalton, Martin Freeman, Paul Freeman, Anne Reid, Rafe Spall, Stewart Wilson, Edward Woodward.

I admit that David Bradley and Stewart Wilson's names failed to elicit even the faintest flicker of recognition. I've since had a look at the ever -unreliable imdb, failed to find Wilson and had to make an educated guess as to which David Bradley this is.

Considine has been just about the only good thing - and certainly the best - in all manner of clunkers from A Room for Romeo Brass to Dead Man's Shoes to Cinderella Man, and I'm very, very happy to see him attached to a project of this calibre.

And big screen Bill Bailey could never be a bad thing.
